Key takeaways from the 2024 Digitaler Staat Conference

News

We are happy to share our key insights from the 2024 Digitaler Staat Conference. Over two enriching days, we had the opportunity to explore fascinating applications, engage in AI topic discussions, and gain valuable new perspectives.

Two standout topics caught our attention:

A project by Nortal, in which the risk of long-term unemployment among applicants was predicted in the Estonian state during the Corona period to support counselors in the unemployment fund. The project is a technical success and a visionary application. We look forward to discussing the implications of the AI Act with the project members in the near future.

The Servicestandard, which forms the framework for standards in software development and commissioning by the public sector and was developed by the DigitalService des Bundes in consultation with the Nationaler Normenkontrollrat (NKR), will be decisive for software development within the framework of the Onlinezugangsgesetz (with the current amending law). The Servicestandard will increasingly guide us through our public assignments.

We are looking forward to the Digital State 2025 and will be present at further conferences this year!
